West Ham United have taken the decision to sack Avram Grant after the East London side failed to secure their Premiership status after losing to Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon.
In what seemed to be a very brief explanation on the official website, Grant now sees himself without work almost one year into what would have been a four year contract.
“The club can confirm that Avram Grant is no longer the manager of West Ham United.”
The statement continued.
“First team coach Kevin Keen will take charge of the team for the final home match of the season against Sunderland on Sunday 22 May.”
Whilst Kevin Keen will take over for the remaining game speculation will now be huge regarding their next manager.
