Who should Manchester City purchase this January?
This January could turn out to be one of the quietest in Manchester City’s modern history. The transfer windows, over the last three or four years have seen City hit the market like a wounded animal looking for fresh meat but we get the feeling at Footybunker that this January could be different.
The main thing City will want to sort out if getting rid of Carlos Tevez, his attitude will be having an effect on the side whether you like it or not and the sooner he goes the sooner Mancini can forget about him and concentrate on other things.
The club have been linked with a lot of players as usual but the majority do look to be those who would perhaps only join in the summer. Here are some players to have been linked with Manchester City over the last few months.

Although it is hard to find weak spots in the Manchester City team they have been very lucky with regards to injuries and it’s therefore difficult to tell. Should Joe Hart enter the treatment room, will they have enough quality? What if Toure were to pull a hamstring or Silva to require a hernia op? All big “IF” questions but what do you think?
