Roberto Martinez is apparently eyeing Leeds United’s Robert Snodgrass as a replacement for Charles N’Zogbia, who is on the verge of completing a £9.5m move to Aston Villa.
The N’Zogbia deal would more than fund a move for the Leeds winger, whom Martinez is ready to offer £2.5m for.
The 23 year-old Snodgrass has caught the eye of several top-flight clubs with a number of classy performances last season, and is ready to miss Leeds’ trip to Norway before heading to Wigan for talks.
The Latics have also been associated with Derry City’s James McClean, who could also fill the winger role which N’Zogbia will leave vacant.
