Reports suggest that AFC Wimbledon boss, Terry Brown, has held talks with Marcus Bent and is keen to gain the signature of the former Premier League striker.
Bent is available on a free transfer after he was released by Birmingham at the end of last season.
Wimbledon lost their opening league fixture against Bristol Rovers on Saturday, and Brown is looking for a striker after last season’s top scorer, Danny Kedwell, left for Gillingham.
The manager noted: “We are looking to get a striker in.”
