Wolverhampton are considering a serious move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone with a view to making a bid worth £4m for the 24 year old.
Huddlestone made some very good impressions last season although it is unclear as to whether he feature so much this season and could be tempted by more first team action for Mick McCarthy’s side. Since joining in 2005, the former Derby County player has picked up 122 league appearances for the White Hart Lane side and spent part of 2005 and 2006 with Wolves on loan.
Although Tottenham are looking to offload certain players to raise cash, Huddlestone doe fit into that category and Wolves, despite a generous offer believed to be about to offered, are likely to have to look elsewhere.
