Wolves Arsenal Odds : Premiership relegation looking likely for Terry Connor at Molineux
Two sides with very different ambitions for the season meet at Molineux tonight when in form Arsenal take on bottom of the table Wolves, as punters pile in to Arsene Wenger’s side.
Wolves are in a shocking run of form and find themselves at the foot of the table, six points clear from safety. Terry Connor took charge on an interim basis after the sacking of Mick McCarthy in February.
Since then the Midlands side have picked up just one point at Newcastle, losing their last six. Connor’s side do have the advantage of knowing what it takes to get out of a relegation battle. Many people had written them of last season of course, but they managed to survive on the final day.

If they were to avoid the drop this season it would be an either bigger achievement though, with the position they find themselves in right now.
As for Arsenal, they are in a great run of form, winning seven of their last eight in the Premier League and will be looking at tonight’s game at Molineux as an opportunity to push on and try to seal third place.

The Gunners had a fantastic win against title contender Manchester City on Sunday, beating them 1-0. This put Wenger’s side two points clear of Tottenham and with Harry Redknapp’s side losing 2-1 at home to Norwich the following day, it is advantage Arsenal in the fight for third place.
With Newcastle and Chelsea sitting in fifth and six just a few points behind, Wenger will want a professional performance from his side this evening.
Wolves will know they odds are stacked against them to come away with maximum points as they have failed to beat Arsenal at home for 34 years.
However, they did go to the Emirates earlier in the season and secure up a 1-1 draw, something that should give them confidence going into the reverse fixture.
Both sides need the points so it should make for a great game in the West Midlands tonight. It all gets underway from 7.45pm.
