Wolves’ assessing extent of Guedioura injury
Wolves midfielder, Adlene Guedioura, is set to see a specialist so that the club can assess the extent of his ankle injury.
Guedioura picked up this newest injury while on international duty with Algeria in an African Nations Cup qualifier.
The 25 year-old’s last serious injury was a broken leg which saw him miss the last six months of the previous Premier League campaign.
Guedioura has missed all three of Wolves’ pre-season friendlies and manager Mick McCarthy is keen to see his midfielder back in action: “Adlene is seeing a specialist about his ankle, we hope it is not too serious.”
Wolves play Blackburn in their opening fixture of the Premier League season on August 13.
