Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy is confident that a deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Jamie O’Hara will go through.
The midfielder has been on loan at Wolves since January scoring three goals in the process and both manager and player are keen to tie up a deal as soon as possible.
“We’ve got a deal to do and I want to keep Jamie.
“He wants to stay and I think we will be doing it, I think Jamie has shown his quality since he has been here. I thought he was outstanding on Sunday.”
McCarthy added.
“He’s what I call a real Premier League player and that’s what we will be trying to recruit again this summer.”
Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp has always spoken highly of O’Hara however with the quality Spurs currently have in that area of the field a deal is expected sooner rather than later.
